The Kyoto-Geneva Accord represents the most significant international climate agreement since the Paris Agreement. Under the terms of the treaty, developed nations will eliminate all direct and indirect subsidies for coal, oil, and natural gas by 2030, with developing nations following by 2035.

The agreement also establishes a $200 billion global green fund to support clean energy infrastructure in emerging markets. UN Secretary-General praised the summit, stating: "Today, humanity has taken a decisive step towards safeguarding our planet for future generations."
